Brandywine is now offering Free WiFi Internet access to our customers and itinerant pilots, crew and passengers. See the Press Release.

This allows:

• checking internet weather
• use DUATS services
• using AOPA flight planner
• checking personal email

Coverage Map

Main coverage area includes the Terminal building and most ramps. Adaquate signal strength for use inside a parked aircraft exists on most ramps to allow checking for weather updates on the ramp.

Assistance

If you have connection problems, verify computer is using DHCP (not static IP), browser does not use a proxy, and SSID/Encryption are set as above, then reboot. You may also ask the manager on duty or local pilots, or send email to wifi at n99.com.

Note: This WiFi site is not encrypted, users should not send security sensitive information without proper protection ( e.g. SSL secured website )

Service Agreement

All users must read and abide by our service agreement displayed when logging in. A summary follows:

Allowable uses include:

• Browsing weather
• Picking up personal email
• Download software updates and programs

Dissallowed usage includes:

• Use peer-to-peer services.
• Sending SMTP email ( Use Webmail instead )
  Note: local airport users may ask for an exception.
• Perform any activity that generates large amounts of traffic.
• Use the service in furtherance of a commercial business
• Perform any illegal activites, send UBE, or any other activity not specifically permitted above.

Registration

A limited number of weather related sites are available in our WiFi garden without registration. To use Web Mail or view sites outside the garden you must register for a free account.
