West Chester, PA, December 06, 2005 - Penn Avionics, Inc., The largest Garmin Aviation products dealer in the northeast announces move to Brandywine Airport (N99) in West Chester, PA

Expanded Facilities with Longer Runways and a Larger Base of Operations are Critical Highlights for One of Aviation's Most Dynamic Young Companies

Established in 1989, Penn Avionics is a full service FAA Certified Radio / Instrument Repair Station, providing avionics sales and service to the aircraft and helicopter markets. Penn Avionics has 11 full time employees that come from a diverse range of aviation backgrounds.

Penn Avionics specializes in all facets of avionics sales and service. Our capabilities include avionics system repair, autopilot repair, avionics installations, custom instrument panel fabrication, and IFR certifications. Penn Avionics is one of the few avionics companies to own a 32 sq ft CNC machine. This machine is computer controlled and can cut aircraft instruments panels from AutoCAD files. This capability allows us to create full custom instrument panels, or modify a small section of an existing instrument panel. Penn Avionics also performs most avionics repairs in house to the component level. By performing the service work in house, we eliminate the delays and expense associated with shipping equipment to outside agencies.

Since 2000, Penn Avionics has been Garmin’s top northeast USA aviation dealer in sales volume, and among the top ten Garmin aviation dealers in the world. Penn Avionics has been awarded STEC’s and PS engineering top 10 dealer award for the last 4 years. Penn Avionics routinely services customers from a 300 NM radius of the Philadelphia area.

In addition to avionics sales and service, avionics and advanced flight and ground instruction is available through its affiliate, Avionics Training Unlimited, Inc. Avionics Training Unlimited now has a classroom facility at Brandywine Airport. Starting in Dec of 2005, Avionics Training Unlimited will be conducting all classes at N99. These classes include: Garmin and Honeywell workshops as well as IFR refresher seminars.
