About the Manager

After many years as the resident Airport Manager, Dave Nelson decided to retire on June 1, 2002, thereby being replaced by John Taylor. John spent many years in the information/stock brokerage community and retired after a successful sales career.

John started flying fixed wing in 1973, here at Brandywine as a matter of fact, but also recently retired from the Army National Guard where he enjoyed twenty-three years as a helicopter pilot, first at Ft. Indiantown Gap, and then at Greater Wilmington Airport. John has a wife and three children and resides in Chadds Ford, PA.. You may contact John at the airport at 610-692-6100..
