Avionics Training Unlimited, located on Brandywine Airport is now offering a one-day IFR Refresher seminar.  This course is geared toward all instrument-rated pilots (and students), regardless of the type of avionics equipment they fly with.

Whether you're an experienced IFR pilot or are training for the instrument rating, this course is for you! Being a proficient IFR pilot not only involves piloting skills, but it is also important to keep up to date on the knowledge areas. In this one-day course, you'll learn about aircraft systems (including common backup and standby systems) and equipment failures.

You'll learn about ILS Precision Runway Monitoring and Approaches with Vertical Guidance (APV). You'll participate in a challenging IFR flight planning exercise, and tackle some challenging instrument approach procedures. You'll review preferred routing, arrivals and departures, position reporting, emergency procedures, and much, much more! The seminar is held in the Avionics Training Unlimited classroom from 8:30am until 4:00pm. The cost is $99, which includes lunch, color course manual, and CD-ROM!
